about

The final entry in Jack Hayter's "Sisters of St. Anthony" series, it's a song of Jack's that you may have heard before but we've known for over a year now that "Quotes" had to be the finale; a sleepy, simple and ambiguous ukulele led farewell to lost things, the perfect way to send this beast to bed.

The B-Side, "The Lab Technician And The Sexton," however was a complete surprise to me! A sinister spoken-word story about Jack's days as a science teacher, which he swears to be true. The musical accompaniment on this one is the stuff of nightmares...cooly chaotic and cruelly calm.

Audio Antihero artist Benjamin Shaw contributed the gorgeous artwork for "Quotes" and helped bring this together as one of the very best entries in the lengthy series, Ben's great.
